T is for Trouble

Yesterday was one of the worst days of my parenting years, regarding my eldest child. She is not a trouble maker, per se, but gets herself in to trouble with the way she has been bad-mouthing me and her siblings. I HATE IT WHEN KIDS TALK BACK! I want to bust out singing "R-E-S-P-E-C-T! Find out what it means to me...." Maybe I'm just emotional because I just found out that we will be parents of 5--can I handle another kid?! "Well, we got trouble! Right here in River City!" to say the least :(.

Congratulations! I am so excited for you!!
I know what you mean about kids sassing back. Jerome kept getting in trouble for that in Primary, and now Scott is his teacher:)

Congratulations! When are you due? I hear you on the talking back. My oldest has been doing that a lot and I just keep wondering if I've done something wrong and brought it on myself or if it's a terrible stage of defining his independence.

WHAT!?! Oh my word! I want to say Congratulations--'cause I'm all excited about it! But were you guys planning/expecting? A family of 7--lucky number. I think it will be great! Good luck with everything. And I'm sorry the oldest has been difficult.

Is this an April Fool's Announcement? But I can totally relate to the oldest daughter back-talk. No fun!!

Oh--I hope this isn't another April Fool's joke on me. Because I'm pretty sure my friend is pulling the "my wife's pregnant" thing on a bunch of us. But he hasn't responded to my accusation. It's not the same case here, is it?

I hope not- I always forget it's April Fool's. I HATE this "holiday". So dumb.
