A first and a last... (I hope)...

I love spring (though not as much as summer).

I love gardening.

I love yard work.

I do not love the dead possum I found in my backyard.

I did not love having to scoop it up with a shovel and put it in black garbage bags.

I sort of love that I found it before my kindergartner, who plays outside almost every day.

I love the thought that I maybe I won't have to do that ever again.

(No, I didn't take pictures--do you really want to see a dead possum?!!?!?!!)

Oh my word! I'm amazed at your bravery in shoveling. I would never be able to do that. It definitely would've waited for my husband to come home. Gross, gross, gross!

And no, I would not want to see those pictures. Thanks for not taking them. :)

You are brave! I remember when I found in the backyard a dead rat in the trap-- I called someone else to get rid of it (and it's a lot smaller than a possum!)

That is so gross. Ever since our hamster chewed into my comforter and died in there for me to find a week later, I am no good at that kind of thing.
